Very clean.
We went on a Sunday day. It was extremely clean. The washers were $1.25 a load. We stopped at the Save-a-lot around the corner (1.0 mi) for fabric softener and quarters. We used 2 washers and went to the park area that was a block away and then came back and put the 2 loads into one of the large dryers ($0.25/6 min) and went back to the park. Easy in and easy out. We were able to use their bathroom and wash tub too.
All machines are old. My comforter didn't get clean. Put money in machine to get Bounce and nothing came out. Never again....
